For over 128 years St George's Cathedral and the Cathedral precinct have been integral to the life of Perth. Located in the heritage heart of the city, the Cathedral and its irreplaceable heritage buildings are undergoing extensive restorative work. These unique and architecturally beautiful buildings, boasting very satisfying proportions and acclaimed for their rare and beautiful brickwork, are soon to be restored to their former glory.

An opportunity now exists for an outstanding sculptor to leave an indelible mark on this city space.

The search is on to find the artist who is prepared to push the boundaries to create a new and interesting twist to a public art commission of St George and the Dragon.
